This year the conference of Euro Ataxia, an international association of European ataxia organizations, will take place in Italy from October 1-3 at the Dante Club Hotel, located at Via Milazzo 81, Cervia (Ravenna).  The hotel has handicapped-accessible rooms. PLEASE NOTE!  Registration deadline is August 27, 2010. Along with the conference, there will be a Medical-Scientific Congress to share information on the current status of research on the principal forms of ataxia.  The general program, subject to changes, is as follows:

Friday, October 1, 2010   6 p.m. Cocktails before dinner with expert lectures by Di Donato (an internationally-known professor) and by Ron Bartek (FARA President)  

Saturday, October 2, 2010   9:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Three sessions dealing with:  

--recessive ataxias (Cocozza, Chessa, Koenig, Schulz, Durr);  

--dominant ataxias (Taroni, Piacentini, Brusco, Orsi, Klockgether);  

--treatment and rehabilitation (Casali, Molinari, Ristori, Mariotti, Pandolfo, Boesch, Ewout, Filla)  

Sunday, October 3, 2010   9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.    Euro-Ataxia Convention.  

Concurrent syntheses of the three themes dealt with by the three doctors, with a question and answer session for the audience   Reservations   For hotel accommodations, download and complete the Registration Form from the AISA website.  Fill out the form according to the instructions provided.
